El Mizouni 11:40 - Oct 26 with 1594 viewsITFC_96

Just checked and he's played 124 minutes of football since joining on loan. Cambridge United have played 7 games since then. Not a great amount of football, that's around 17 minutes per game. Surely would have got similar game time here and benefited from "better" training facilities? Dobra's had 82 minutes for the first team in 7 games by comparison, but also a couple of U23 games so more actual minutes of playing football.

Can see why he was reluctant to leave for Crawley (among other things, like their manager).

El Mizouni will learn so much more than Dobra will this year being involved in that first team picture week in week out. Did start at the weekend as well.

Really hope Dobra re considers January and takes a loan out.

Poll: Would you be happy with Paul Lambert?

Learn what though? They would both be training with the first team regardless. El Mizouni is missing out on U23s football.

Honestly, if Dobra is forced to go on loan to a League 2 club after the whole photograph fiasco I think that's the end of his time here. I would be furious. I don't think Lambert is going to last until January though.

What if we just moved on from Nolan and Judge, who have consistently failed over a pretty long period now, and just gave a bit more game time to Dobra, El Mizouni and McGavin? Nothing absurd, but they're better than most League One substitutes aren't they?

And any point about experience in response is daft - how much 'experience' did Jon Nolan show at the weekend?

I think what's interesting to note is that away from our "better" training facilities, he hasn't immediately suffered an injury that'll keep him out for at least a year. Good on the lad I say.

Add Emyr Huws, and Freddie Sears to that list.

Dobra should be on the bench here. He is a game changer. It is a nonsense having Wolf, Kenlock and Mcguiness on the bench - all but a complete back line - yet only Bennetts (perhaps) and at a real push, Sears might actually change something going forward if things aren't working out. The directness and pace of Dobra for the final 20 minutes could pick up free kicks or penalties against tiring defenders in this league.

He should be starting the next two home games. Huws will offer nothing going forwards as a replacement for Nolan. And if Dozzell is sitting we need two dynamic players alongside to link up with the wide players and Hawkins.

Selective use of stats that.

In the league Dobra has had 0 minutes for us.

If you are going to include the game he did play in then we have had 12 matches that he was available for rather than 7.

The game he played was alongside Ndaba, Baggott, McGavin, Simpson, Gibbs ... was far from a first team fixture ... probably the same level as Cambridge really.

Dobra is not going to get first team minutes this side of Christmas aside from in the meaningless cups or if we have a lot of unavailability for some reason. Neither would El Mizouni. There is no way he would have got anything close to 124 minutes for us and very little chance of anything going forwards this season.

Whatever reason Dobra didn't go out on that loan. he would benefit from being regularly in the first team squad somewhere at the moment.

Was the first to be substituted after just 59 minutes though....
