Have we broken COVID protocol? on 12:45 - Dec 20 with 1389 views | Blue_badge | The whole of football seems to be breaking Covid rules, on match days at least - handshakes and fist bumps, even arms around the shoulders, players hugging in goal celebrations (we're lucky, we don't get too much of that!). Trouble is, our central defenders tend to keep two meters away from their strikers...
Have we broken COVID protocol? on 12:53 - Dec 20 with 1353 views | Pinewoodblue | Generally the problem isn’t within the bubble but with individuals bringing Covid into the bubble. A bubble is supposed to protect its members. Any one in such a relatively large bubble has a duty to do their upmost to ensure they don’t bring Covid into the bubble. They should isolate themselves as much as possible while outside the bubble. Doesn’t seem fair to their families but it how it should be working.

Its the worst time for the squad to get it as it means we will likely need to cancel more games than if it had been say 3 weeks ago. I think this season could easily collapse like a house of cards at any moment. We already have to fit one more game into our schedule (peterborough A) and we could now end up having to slot in a further 2 or 3. The availability of those other teams will start to get more complicated if they are also having to try and rearrange games too. If we then get a 2nd breakout of Covid in the squad, that will make it even more challenge to sort.

it's not really possible under the current rules. many players will have kids required to go to school, some will have partners who work, it's luck of the draw with so many variables.

Yes but hours before the news that there were positive tests players were visiting hospitals. Good PR but not the right thing to do.

The news story was the total opposite, says players were unable to visit hospitals so made donation instead.
