The Nsiala issue 09:57 - Jan 24 with 580 views | Bluefish | Obvious stuff but he has to stop going to ground in the box, it should be a last ditch thing for a cb to putting a sliding challenge in the box. Nsiala does it every game! He had 2 last week as well without giving away a pen, the 1st was a well timed tackle and the 2nd was a bizarre slide out wide where he misread the attacker and they walked round him. He has so many attributes for a CB but doesn't seem to be learning. It is utterly criminal that we have a young bright CB of our own that is being kept out by him and a loanee. The 1st choice should be Chambers and Woolfenden. Donacien should have been right back or someone else brought in as a specialist right back. Not only does Lambert hurt us with his non existent tactics he also hurts us with his personal grudges towards players

He certainly does have many attributes to be a decent CB at this level, no higher. However, he just doesn’t learn from past mistakes and continues to make rash decisions, it’s like he can’t help himself. He should be the dependable and solid one in that CB pairing with his experience, unfortunately it’s just not happened for him here. [Post edited 24 Jan 2021 10:08]

He needs to be coached through games with an experienced CB partner in the same way that Woolfy and McGuiness do. The probably is we put them all in together. At least Woolf and McGuiness can still learn. The penalty yesterday was as stonewall as they come and you can see it coming in slow mo before he even does it

The Nsiala issue on 10:09 - Jan 24 with 507 views | Guthrum | I do think it has got to the stage where other teams target him and refs are on the look-out. I thought Dembele went down ever so easily yesterday to win the penalty. But if Nsiala were to stand off, then the opposition are so often in on goal. He is frequently the last man, putting in vital blocks. Possibly the issue is as much that the defending (in the wider sense, including the rest of the team) is poorly coordinated, so he ends up on his own against a man who would otherwise get a free shot.

The Nsiala issue on 10:09 - Jan 24 with 503 views | strikalite | The thing is this is just basic stuff you learn as a kid growing up and playing at a decent schoolboy level, if he hasn't got the eye to be able to see what a 60/40 ball is now at this level and at this age with the experience he has then what can you say... I really do wonder to what degree we have these players watched, this is obviously something that's rooted into his game..
