Test launch (to 10 kilometres) looks like it's going ahead, probably around 25 minutes.

Live coverage:

That is excellent, looks like something out of a 1970's sci-fi film.

Am assuming they are going to land so could be impressive if all goes well.

Yes, going for a landing. Hoping to be more successful then 8, which didn't quite make the landing soft enough due to issues with a header tank meaning the engines didn't develop enough power.

Still early days, have to expect some issues. Landing something that size is very hard, NASA aren't even bothering, their SLS isn't even going to land, just build a new one every time.

Worth remembering for those watching that this is just the top bit, the bottom bit will be 1.5 times the size of this bit with 28 engines (this one has 3 engines).

About 12 minutes to go, assuming no more hold-ups.

saw someone say they were from Ipswich in the chat which must have a million hits by now, theyve been streaming for nearly 8hrs, which is insane how many people are watching this :)

just watching a rocket roll slowly down the road had more viewers than Ipswich get for home games (pre-covid)

Yep.

Second Raptor engine didn't fire properly.

Am sure they will sort that out.

Errm, that object, looks like something described as non-doctor that a young Pendejo found under a female relative's bed.

Possibly the engine blew up. Shrapnel seen coming out of the back as they tried to re-light.

New design of engine, so that's as experimental as the vehicle itself.

Edit: Second engine, I mean.
