Think you have to look at the jobs he has taken on, not a very fair way to judge a manager.

He has pretty much always taken a club on there way down.

I would question his job selection, should sack his agent if he has one

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

sorry but 306 games you can't blame the clubs for it, with us for example, is it ME's fault Paul refuses to play 2 strikers etc, did Evans pick Chambers and Ward v Peterborough? etc

He is far from the only manager to elect to go with 1 up top.

Look I am not defending what PL and the job he has done here.

But surely any football fan can see the manager is simply the scapegoat. PL does not make all the decisions at the club and he is not the one on the pitch when the whistle is blown.

Well, you are really, you're saying he's a scapegoat

the fact is, he picks & coaches the team, selects the players, chooses formations etc if the team has a bad game, yes it's down to the players, but when results continue to be a problem, that's not a player problem, it's a management problem, to many failures by Lambert every game, if it's not wrong fullbacks, it's wrong midfield balance. I,E weeks and weeks of Judge on the wing, or sears etc that's Lambert, nothing to do with the club

I reckon PL was a sleezy car salesman in a former life, because he’s got the gift of the gab and can convince anyone that black is white, and that he can turn water to wine.

Town fans bought into it in his first season when we were relegated, with outstanding vocal support ( even on the last day of the season), such was his persuasive yadda. But of course the longer time has gone on the cleaner it has becomes that he can’t back up his self proclaimed skill set with results.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the apprentice of smoke and mirrors performs in front of the Master of smoke and mirrors , in presumably Wednesday’s meeting. I hope the Master recognises the traits and banishes the apprentice to the wilderness!

Lambert - gift of the gab? That would imply he can conjure the right words. Most of what spurts from his mouth is incomprehensible, irrelevant and repetitive nonsense.

Well as Jordan himself said last week, “ all I can say is, he must interview well”, which implies he does indeed have the gift of the gab or talks a good talk. He’s going to try his level best again this coming week in the meeting with Evans. If he’s still here after that , I would say he’s pulled the wool once again.
