It would be even better if we could find a website affiliated to the fanzine to host them on.

I drew a couple of cartoons that got printed in TWTD early doors when I was 14 or 15

TWTD Paper Fanzines on 00:16 - Mar 13 with 880 views | BonchosBicycle | One of the old fanzines - Blue? Dribble? TWTD? - used to be run out of a house in North London somewhere. I remember just showing up on their doorstep one day to see if they had the latest issue handy as I only made it to a home game every couple of months being South London based. Nice chaps iirc. Would love to see some of the old zines again - mine got lost in a Trans-Atlantic move. I remember a poll in one about who would score next for Town and one of the choices was "Bald bloke from Oasis" and a joke about Ian Marshall dumping old fridges by the corner flag. Good times. And similar times as we were moaning about our inability to score then too. At least that was in the Premier League though. Would be great if there was an archive of them on some website. I'm sure copyright holders would be fine with the preservation!

I used to sell TWTD outside Churchmans one season (approximately '91 at a guess) for the original editor, I think his name was Paul Stevens, they cost 50p and I would get paid £10 to stand there for an hour and a half before every home game. All my mates were doing paper rounds 6 mornings a week for £8.50 😊 I've still got a few editions in a box in my loft. [Post edited 13 Mar 2021 11:07]
