Didn’t tośśer Lambert say he was still nowhere near ready or at least getting there but not there sort of thing?

Then suddenly he’s in the picture getting half an hour on Saturday.

Doubt we’d have seen him so soon had he still been here??

Certainly a strange one. Makes you wonder whether Skuse voiced an opinion.

I think the sooner we all forget Lambert ever existed the better it will be for our collective blood pressure.

26th Feb:

Skuse was back out on the Playford Road training ground this week having undergone knee surgery in October.

Lambert welcomed the 34-year-old’s return: “It’s been a long time, six months now. It’s good to see him back out training again on the grass.

“OK, he’s still a little bit short of where he probably wants to get to where he is, but at least he’s out there and playing on the grass. He trained a little bit with us yesterday, it’s just a matter of building him up I guess.

“His experience will be invaluable in helping that as well. How far away he is, he’ll still need a little bit of time to come back fully fit.”

Ta, I couldn’t be arsed to search around this time ha.

Him saying ‘on the grass’ usually meant said player was still months away from returning haha.

Depends on the player doesn't it. That was three weeks ago, so what he predicted was arguably correct.
