At the start of the season I felt you had it wrong with him. He seemed to have that X factor of popping up to get us a goal from nowhere. 5 goals before October was a decent enough return.
Since he has returned from injury though he has been a shadow of himself. His first touch is woeful, his crossing not good enough and he seems to have lost that knack of a late run into the box. Some proper wingers/inside forwards has to be the priority for me this summer.

I feel you are close but still falling into the common trap as taking the bad games as the exception. He has been abysmal for 3 seasons and 5 goals mainly tap ins and some acciddntal assists do not change that. The freak spell were the goals albeit the performances still weren't very good, the same traits you see now were there then just masked by the wins.
He has had probably a maximum of 3 games in 3 seasons at above a 6/10 and even then they were probably a 7 at best. There is nothing to come good or click in, he is a woeful player. Stealing a career on running fast inba straight line.
