Who would you actually keep on 12:21 - Mar 17 with 870 views | Guthrum | Can you justify: Dobra El Mizouni Nydam Ndaba as nailed on starters when you consider somebody like Norwood, Woolfenden or Bishop as only 'back up'? Why not Wilson and Nsiala as a pair?

Not having had time does not justify a young player's inclusion in the team. They have to be of a good standard also. Ideally having proven that in their loan postings and U23 work. I'm not saying we should get rid of those men (indeed, I've been quite impressed with what I've seen of El-Mizouni). But I don't see why they should be preferred to those with actual first team experience like Dozzell.

Who would you actually keep on 12:58 - Mar 17 with 786 views | Illinoisblue | A new keeper is vital. Holy is a lovely bloke I’m sure but every game he plays can be classed as “nervy debut”. Everyone talks about needing a strong spine of the team. It starts in goal.

Who would you actually keep on 13:02 - Mar 17 with 775 views | J2BLUE | Unpopular opinion: I'd sell Downes if we get an offer of £3m. He didn't want to be here and would seem unlikely he wants another season in league one. He hasn't set the league alight. I'd sell to release funds. Keep Norwood - back up Bishop if he's not on big wages KVY Wilson - back up Dozzell if he's willing Lankester Dobra Kenlock - back up El Miz

You'd keep KVY? He's not played in over a year...

Who would you actually keep on 13:22 - Mar 17 with 739 views | clive_baker | Keep: Downes - nailed on starter, give him the armband Norwood - Nailed on starter in a front 2 Jackson - Partner with Norwood KVY - If we can get fit, nailed on RB Woolfenden - First choice CB, build the defence around him and I would really love to see him empowered to properly step up and take responsibility. Wilson - Back up Kenlock - Back up Dozzell Dobra El Miz Nydam Bishop Nolan Lankester - I still think he's a forward in a front 2 Hawkins - Versatile and useful Move on: Holy, Edwards, Chambers, Skuse, Nsiala, Huws, Ward, Sears, Drinan, Judge. Plus, McGuinness, Harrop, Thomas, Parrot, Matheson, Bennetts. Appreciate it's a bit drastic to move on 10 + 6 loanees but I think the squad needs a massive overhaul. We have some quality but there seems to be deep rooted issues and while I got pelters on here before for suggesting it, that new era has to be without Chambers or Skuse, either on or off the pitch. I don't doubt they've given their all but it's almost symbolic now, we need a reset and that includes a fresh start and giving a voice to everyone. So many of our players seem so meek, and I do wonder to what extent that's driven by there being 1 or 2 very influential voices. That needs to be levelled out, we need 5 or 6 leaders.

Looked quality though. Not like he's a unique case being injured here.

Who is going to take him off us in his current state? He's contracted until 2023.

Don't get me wrong, he's a quality player at this level, just can't see him ever coming back, definitely not at the levels he set previously.

After another season in Division 3 - I'm struggling to see any club pony up £3m for Downes in the first instance. That said, for all the talk of a clear out......we need some money from somewhere if Cook is going to do that.

Who would you actually keep on 13:40 - Mar 17 with 672 views | BlueForYou | As mentioned on the other thread. KVY, need to see him play regularly, could be really good. Donacien, strangely frozen out by Lambert so hasn't had a chance. Wilson, been the best defender, keep. Woolfenden, needs to develop but has promise. Kenlock, has played really well recently. Downes, a banker when fit. Lankester, again hasnt had much chance due to injury. McGavin, liked what I saw of him. Dobra, again a like & a positive player who deserves more starts. Nydam, another injury jinx who could come good. Bishop, does ok when he can be bothered. & possibly Norwood. Not No1 striker but useful squad filler. borderline..... Nsiala, could still be useful. Good out & out defender. Dozzell, just bloody infuriating. Mizouni, dont know enough about him. Nolan, does score goals but not a first team starter. Judge, never seen what he brings. Edwards, as above. The rest in the bin.

Not necessarily. We've got a lot of players on punchy salaries. After the past 12 months I would imagine there will be a lot of players available on a free this summer, so Cook needs to reallocate those wages to the right players. Lets be honest, if I were Evans I would be thinking when I've spent money on the likes of Nsiala, Jackson, Nolan, Donacien it's not like I've seen any better standard of player than freebies. Mick built a team of freebies in Berra, Murphy, Chambers, Skuse, McGoldrick and they've been some of the best players we've had under Evans. If we moved on Holy, Edwards, Chambers, Skuse, Nsiala, Huws, Ward, Sears, Drinan, Judge. Plus, McGuinness, Harrop, Thomas, Parrot, Matheson, Bennetts the loanees we're probably talking £3m a year of wages.
