Hawkins will not add the goals we are in need of.

Downes will add something to the team, especially if it allows the other midfielders to play further up the pitch and create more and support the attack. However, this is also why we must not bring him back too early. The same goes for KVY.

Norwood is the only player that really makes a difference to our ability to score goals and therefore our ability to win matches right now. This has to change in the summer. There is no way we can rely on one player to provide our goal threat. Pair him with a real goal threat and have another one in reserve and we might have something worth watching.

Hawkins doesnt need to add the goals. He just needs to be the same player he was early in the season who sets them up and brings others into the game.

Hawkins has been involved in something like 9 of our 17 games won this season.
