Super League Nonsense 11:13 - Apr 20 with 533 viewskizaitfc

For me the UK Government can do more than the usual soundbites and announcing reviews.

They could say that they will not allow UK clubs to join and if necessary laws will be changed to make their lives as difficult as possible in there endeavour to destroy the game.

Would probably win the Tories a majority for the next 3 or 4 elections. Only one politician mad enough to have done this though and he resigned as leader of the Labour Party after the last election.

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

I don't think they could create laws to say that a business can't join other businesses in a joint venture.

They could make work permits for footballers harder to get, much like they were pre-Bosman and that would totally cripple the big clubs in England.

Indeed :).

I can't really think of anything else obvious they could do which would handicap the richer clubs and not the smaller clubs.

Er, not based on recent events they can't.

Would we even want this to become politicised though?

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
