Basically lost a large number of photos of both my parents (RIP.)
They’re on an IPhone 4 - it won’t charge, it still turns on if I plug it in but can’t seem to
transfers anything - it turns off as soon as it’s not charging.

Never had an Iphone so sorry if this is a stupid answer - can you attach it to a PC/Mac with a USB lead and switch it on and transfer the files while charging? |  | | |

Iphone 4, wow, did you dig it up at Sutton Hoo? Joking aside, if the phone is backed up, either to cloud or Itunes, you'll be fine. You really should buy a new phone though. |  |

Plug it in, create an account for it. Back it up to the cloud. Open a laptop, log into the account you have just created and download the images both the laptop and also to an external device for safekeeping. | | | |
