Was thinking about this, he'd be ideal in the no. 10 role or anywhere in that front 3.

He was linked back in March on Football League World but the big issue seems to be an alleged falling out with Cook that saw him go to Wednesday.

If they can sort that out, he'd be high up my shopping list.

Windass would be great as a 10. He'll be on good wages at Sheff Wed and he'd probably need replacing if we were to go up, as he's only lower-mid table Championship quality at best.

He is a really terrible player. Completely underperformed at Wigan and then Sheff Wed. Fans of both clubs happy to get rid, and has an ego by all accounts. Need to stay away.
