Great review and great band! "Dead Star" (2020) and "Orion" (2016) my favorite albums from their back catalogue.

Deafheaven have just put our a new un. They've ditched the black metal entirely and gone full on 90s rock/shoegaze. I like it a lot.



The brilliant thing about Deafheaven is that they've constantly evolved and changed. They're massively responsible for a LOT of my current musical obsessions but I'm not sure about this tune, it's fair to say. That said, I'm mostly unsure about it because of the band name attached to it. If it was new band, I'd probably love it.

That probably say more about me as a fanboy than it does Deafheaven as a band.
