These last round games have been great for the neutral - all too reminiscent of the final day in our leagues.

Denmark being a case in point. No real 'dead rubbers'.

The refereeing has been faultless, with no VAR controversies either.

Let's hope it stays that way, for what has been a cracker so far.

Very good tournament, a hell of an improvement on 2016.

Now the real business starts. I feel at least a couple of these last 16 ties will go down as all time classics. England v Germany is set up for it so long as Southgate finds some bottle and attacks the bejaysus out of the them. Germany are there for the taking.
