Cook seemed fairly strong on fact that the result of that Col U game mattered 21:08 - Jul 29 with 1415 viewsitfcjoe

Passionately saying we should not be losing to Colchester and he was happy with the late goal.

As some were saying the other day, winning is a habit, and not losing becomes a habit - bad results in pre season won’t just be written off by the management as not mattering. Everything matters of trying to get the culture right

Was impressed seeing them speaking in person, rather then online as previously. Thought they came across well. Nice to bump into you again Joe.

When you're experimenting and getting fitness, the results clearly are as important as competitive games.

Yes, professionals would rather win, but it's not the only aim of pre season.

There were two or three examples of psychology discussed tonight wasn't there and not just on the pitch. It all seems very alien when discussing ITFC but very welcoming.

Results are a nice to have, but they’re secondary to performance and preparation, hence the team selection. If they were of any more significance you wouldn’t start a handful of those that did.

Of course it’s a nice to have, no professional wants to lose games, but the results don’t matter until Morecambe.
