Reminds me of a piece I heard on R5l just before 7pm this eve on the difference between the UK's approach to supporting our Olympic/Paralympic athletes before and after lottery funding.

Before - amateurish & hopeless - no clothing, no equipment, no training. After - everything needed given without question, plus every conceivable little extra fine margin applied. 1,000th gold medal won today :)
