Thought we deserved the win, but a decent enough performance. Pretty solid at the back and protected well by the midfield. Going forward I thought we carried a real threat. The difference from last season is very visible. We are starting to resemble a good side. The substitutions made a real difference. Could have been better, but happy enough with the progress so far. Roll on Tuesday.

I thought it was very average at best. Not sure we deserved to win.

Really?

What about the terrible giveaways at the back, that against a better team would've been goals?

Really not sure what you are experiencing from L1? We are not Man City. We are far more of a side than many a season. We are getting there.

I guess what I'm expecting is us to get the basics right first. To play with a bit of steel and determination. To be fit. To not play players out of position to suit a system that doesn't suit them. To have done better, much better than we have against the opposition we have faced when you compare the resources at our disposal.

If we don't get it right and go up by automatic or promotion we'll lose a lot of these players.

Morsy won't stay. Bonne will go back to QPR. Celina will go back to Dijon. Coulson will go back to Boro.`i doubt Chaplin would stay. I doubt Fraser would stay to be played out of position. I doubt if Edwards comes back from injury and picks up from where he left off that he would stay.

So we'd spend a season gelling a team that we'd have to dismantle at the end of the season and then start again next season. It's a high risk strategy and it isn't working so far. By the time it clicks (if it clicks) it will most likely be too late.

see it week in week out in the prem, the pssing about with it at the back. I hate defenders doing it, but it's modern football.

We were the better side, had the best chances (Bonne had 3) they only had 2 clear cut chances, one being the goal which was a good finish in the top corner.

Thought Burgess played well, only mistake he made he got back and made the tackle. El Miz marked Bannan out of the game.

Edmondson not too sure about, doesn't seem confident on the ball. Full backs mustve been told to stay back as they weren't getting up the pitch too often.

But we still created plenty of chances to win the game. On another day, the Burns goal is given if he times his run better and Bonne gets a Hat-Trick. We created chances before and after their goal.

Other than putting the ball in the net, Town had a good game, and were better than SW IMHO
