Has there ever been a braver, more heroic bloke in the history of cricket?

Just been reading his testimony for the last hour and it’s even more powerful and gut-wrenching than imaginable from the snippets and headlines on the news. It’s just paragraph after paragraph of awful, horrible abuse, bullying and racism.

The man might (fingers crossed) have single handedly with his bravery started the huge changes needed in cricket not only at Yorkshire but across the country, at all levels.

He got it spot on when he said "Hopefully we will see massive change in five years' time and hopefully I did something bigger than getting runs or wickets".

The comment about not introducing his kids to cricket was the saddest part for me.

Snuffing out a parent's cultural love of a game so that they feel they have to deny it to their kids.

That's racism.

Imagine living in a society where you couldn't take your kid to Portman Road, having lived ITFC all your life.

That's what they've done to Azeem Rashid and countless others. It is f**k*ng disgusting.

Interesting experiment in where Gav had placed the asterisks in the swearing filter.

Fourth time lucky, Gav, if you're updating your list.

Think it’s finished in this country, call back the team from Australia as well. Imprison all the perpetrators as well.
