If I had to pick someone tonight - I would go with Matt Gill. He didn't do so bad in his caretaker role - and certainly had the team playing better than both Cook and Lambert.
He's well regarded in coaching too, given the face he landed at Swansea. I might be wrong, but I think he could be a really good manager for us. | |

To be fair Lambert had a side which was, by all accounts and claimed repeatedly on here, considerably worse than the side we have now. And he had that side out performing this one considerably.
So its not out of the realms of possibilities that with this squad he could have us sitting pretty in the play offs. | | | |
