But how long should Cook have got?
That Wycombe performance was excellent against a strong side, Cooks system and ethos showed it could work.
I think if the players had gone on a run and built confidence we could have built on it.
I just think it relies on players giving 7+ week in week out. He wasn’t coaching a shape and system that was effective to allow for 5 out of 10 days.
We need a PROGRESSIVE AND TECHNICAL MANAGER or team… we’ve needed it for over a decade
