I'm sure this has been covered already but with the benefit of hindsight do we think that mcgreal was really appointed as caretaker manager instead of u23s coach? Potential interim manager until the end of the season if they can't get their (probably very ambitious) first choice in?

Its all very bizarre, and I do wonder if he will look back on his time here and regret not getting a more experienced backroom team in place, especially given his right hand man decided to go his own way.
