Think I've confused it
I was basically saying it's embarrassing that the 2 advisors were basically telling us not to go out. Yet our leader was doing everything he could to refrain from saying it himself.
I get what Whitty was saying. But the lady ( apologies for not remembering her name) saying not to go to football shows again another mixed messaged press conference.
