BTW. Appreciate I've probably spelt embarrassingly wrong which Itself would be embarrassing. But can't be arsed to spellcheck and I'm thick.

That has been deliberately taken out of context. He said people should not go to events they don't really care about as the risk of infection is so high they have a big chance of missing what does matter to them.

He gave the example of not letting an office party mean you cannot spend Christmas Day with your loved ones.

Truly impaired.

Sadly you are right Boris said what he felt the public wanted to hear and again failed to lead the country.

However the 2 experts both had different views.
I like whitty. Never afraid to tell it how it is despite Boris next to him.

If going to a stadium.. Get a vaccine.. don't go for any other reason..

So yes. Go out but not out out.

Yes, and it's absolutely not Chris Whitty's fault that the Boris / The Government are too spineless / stupid to put in place proper restrictions.

You have done my head in the past but don't call yourself thick.

There's already always people ready to put you down in life without joining in yourself.

Sorry thought you were saying it was embarrassing.

My reply might look a bit pointed after the edit!

Think I've confused it

I was basically saying it's embarrassing that the 2 advisors were basically telling us not to go out. Yet our leader was doing everything he could to refrain from saying it himself.

I get what Whitty was saying. But the lady ( apologies for not remembering her name) saying not to go to football shows again another mixed messaged press conference.
