Idle thought on this: This is either a social gathering(which would have been illegal at the time) OR an official government meeting with a spouse who, at the time, had no formal role in government. Which surely would have been a breach of the Official Secrets Act?

Either way, it's a police matter, right?

No it took place over a year ago didn’t it? In which case the Justice Secretary Dominic Raab has told us that the Police will not be investigating any potential crimes which took place over a year ago.

Adam Wagner (who is pretty good on these things) suggested not illegal, probably against the guidelines at the time.

Rule/laws changed a lot and he knows his sh1t.
