On Saturday I did an LFT and it was positive, Sunday I then got a PCR and it was negative.

This means i'm fine right? As the PCR is more reliable and was the next day. Bit confused but think that's how it works but i'm sure someone knows more.

Basically, yes. Assuming you're not symptomatic.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

That combination of results mean you can have a business meeting in your garden at which wine is served.

Well I had a small cold on the Thursday which is why I tested, and that's lingered again from Sunday to now. Also worth noting the test was checked about 40 minutes after taken, so was technically invalid, it was only one line after 15 minutes.

You are probably okay, so long as the PCR was swabbed properly.

It was nose only instead of throat swab which it was supposed to be, I asked the guy at the time and he said as long as it's not a void result it should be fine.

That would make it a social gathering, so no.

Depends whether your ‘business meeting’ is with Homer, as he’s a delinquent who doesn’t like cheese (honest, I know it sounds ridiculous).

You could get more comfort by doing another LFT from a different box.

LFT's should only give false positives about 1 in 1000 unless you've had covid within the last 3 months and then it can be higher than that.

If you do one from another box you eliminate any "bad batch" outlier and if it's positive then I'd get another PCR straight away (and do the tonsils and nose).

That surely makes him a degenerate and a heretic, rather than a delinquent.
