It’s taken all these flippin years to get used to metric and the swine now wants me to go back to Imperial. I don’t believe it.

So, 16 ounces in a pound, 14 pounds in a stone, 8 stone in a hundredweight. Simple. Bring it on! Who needs a logical weights and measures system?

Interestingly, credit goes to the French for creating the metric system, though some claim a British bloke came up with the idea a year or two earlier in the 17c. Who cares. Why on earth would anyone want to go back to ounces, pounds etc? The buffoon will be suggesting pounds shillings and pence next!
