For me yes we have a large squad that is maybe a bit unbalanced ? As others have said too many number 10's but who do we have to cover Morsey or Evans ? all the unused players are good at this level but not as cover for those two ? Suppose Carroll is the best fit but has not impressed much so far . I am interested in what others think . |  | | |

I think those players will really struggle to press effectively as well, which looks like it's going to be a big part of the McKenna gameplan - maybe there's a chance that Evans could drop out eventually for Harper, Fraser, El Mizouni or someone new at some point.
Celina's brilliant on his day but I don't think we can afford to carry someone like that defensively in this league - Chaplin or Aluko just offer much more in terms of work-rate, tracking back etc. |  | | |

Carroll, Fraser and Harper can be drilled in the Morsy/Evans roles if McKenna’s impact is anything to go by. Edwards as a wing back? About the only position available from the off though, thankfully, McKenna isn’t afraid to switch formation if required. Celina in the number ten role currently occupied by Aluko. Coulsen would surely slot in ahead of Penney.
We’re probably lacking centre back cover back for this formation but otherwise…
