Bishop tonight 13:30 - Mar 8 with 878 viewsBobsthename

I wonder if he is fit for tonight always liked him but he never really lived up to his expectations or mine but if he plays tonight he might want to prove a few wrong i hope we dominate the ball tonight and our strikers find their scoring boots it could be a good win for us if we’re up for it .
I don’t want the flip side to that for sure.

Teddy Bishop has sadly never fulfilled the enormous promise he showed in his breakthrough season when only 18. He had shin splints the following summer & then a succession of injuries so he didn't really play a full season until last term. He's made 28 League starts for Lincoln this season, but I suspect he will never recapture the form of those early days, although he's still only 25.

We certainly don't want any Bishop bashing at PR this evening if he does play...

When he broke into the side I thought he was the best academy player I’d seen in a long while. He looked the real deal. Progressive, good passer of the ball. A real hurtful player if you are the opposition.

Injuries robbed of so much of his early career and he’s never looked ‘right’ since for me. Such a shame. I doubt playing for a club in such a mess helped, but I hope he can enjoy good fitness for the rest of his career and makes the most of it.

It’s singles night in the Churchman’s so we’ll have none of those shenanigans going on thank you very much.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Agreed, he was exceptional.

Mentally it must be hard for him knowing that if it hadnt been for injuries he would probably be a regular starter in a Championship team.

Like most of his contemporary academy products, he seemed to lack any form of pace. He was skilful enough but also injury prone. I hope the focus under the new owners and management is to produce players that have a bit more about their game. We could do with unearthing a new Burns or two.

* Watch him sprint the length of the pitch and score a screamer tonight.
