McDonald's, KFC and Coca-Cola are still on the hit list

Not that I buy any of it anyway - maybe the odd KFC but I prefer Favourite Chicken anyway, and they now do gravy!

Oh, thinking about it I am partial to a McDonalds breakfast and although I don't drink it there are always a stack of Cokes in the fridge.

Time to boycott me thinks!

“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.” Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.

You’re going to boycott yourself?

Aren’t McDonalds all operated on a franchise model? Think the Russian outlets are regulated a Russian company rather than McDonalds HQ somewhere in the US.

There was a report on the radio yesterday suggesting that it wasn’t as simple as simply McDonalds pulling the plug (or fat flyer).

I am sure it isn't as easy as made out, in fact I was just going to post about Coca Cola but then a BBC headline about Mc D and KFC popped up.

However, ultimately McD make money out of franchisees so the buck stops with Ronald as Ronald remains the start of the supply chain.

Yesterday the suggestion on the BBC was McDonalds don't operated the same franchise model in Russia and McDonald's actually own them. Now whether that is a Russian based regulated company rather than the parent US company it wasn't clear

They’ll have to go to McPutin’s where the food is bitter, and pumped full of steroids.
