There is a powerful argument that social media misminformation Covid was calculated to resonate with various ethnic minority groups.

IIRC at least one proper study of the ultimate origins of that sort of misinformation concluded it could be traced back to about one dozen accounts/individuals.

Or people behaving in paranoid and irrational ways are more likely to have had sh*t parents. It’s interesting they categorise this type of behaviour as a mental illness. I’ve long thought some of the most vocal dentists need help, so maybe there’s something in that.
