All children from pre-school up should have them. If you can walk, you can defend yourself.

To make them more user friendly, how about removing the safety catches? Easier to use and the kids more ready for the bad guys.

Could shed a tear or two reading that for a few reasons.

Not least it is heart-breaking that society has allowed that to even happen to this child at all, but to then not want to support her fully in every single way and means possible is scandalous.
