The last thing you need before the new season. I can’t believe we’d let this happen, but there we are…

They’ve disappeared from our TV screens!

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Goodnight Swanny Boy.

I was watching the last of Ozark and knew I recognised the old boy in it; (the grandad?).

It took a little while until I realised the old man was John Boy!

Heck I felt old.

Poll: Xmas dinner: Yorkshires or not?

John Boys father is also the on screen father of Jethro from NCIS.

I think we should stop now J before we feel really ancient.

I've never seen NCIS but am intrigued to learn Jethro was in it.

I could see him as a detective at a crime scene though:

"What happened was..."

I can confirm though that my 84 year old mother loves NCIS if you really wanna feel old!

Talking of feeling old, I’ve only just realised that Brennan Johnson (doing well with Forest and Wales) is the son of none other that our own David Johnson (mk 2). When the heck did that happen?

How can you have only just realised that?

Poll: Is it now time to sack Paul Cook?

On another tangent, I used to often wonder why Prog rock band Jethro Tull named themselves after the pioneer of seed drill technology.

I suppose it was the drugs.

The story has it that they constantly changed band names to secure more bookings at venues. They were using Jethro Tull when they were invited back for another gig.

Something like that anyway.

Poll: Are this group of ITFC players the best squad in the division?

Gomez didn't have a band name for a while but they did have a friend called Gomez who could not be relied upon to find his way around. So at one Sheffield Uni gig they put up lots of signs with an arrow and 'Gomez' written on them and everyone else took that to be the name of the band.

Poll: What was in Wes Burns' imaginary cup of tea ?
