But Ndaba looks a massive drop off in quality.
Admittedly he’s been losing the likes of Antonio, Benteke and Plange so nothing like League One movement but concerning at just how many times he’s been caught out.
Great recovery tackle on Antonio on Tuesday but he looks a real weak link sadly. Had hoped he’d settle in smoothly.
Might be being too harsh but Arsenal, West Ham and Palace have shown our other centre backs to look largely solid against top players but not Corrie. [Post edited 16 Jul 2022 13:22]

He doesn't read the game well enough, so his positioning is often poor. He might just need another loan season, playing regular football.

Instead of writing him off after a couple of pre season friendlies, which mean nothing apart from fitness, give him a good run of games before making a judgement. Lets be fair to the lad, he had a very decent season at Salford City last year. It really is too early to make any real assessment of Ndaba's ability, lets see how he gets on against players that he is more likely to face in L1 rather than experienced EPL players. | |

I'd argue it's early in pre-season. He may not be up to and not the best we have but willing to go with Mckenna and the coaching staff on this. |  | | |

Bit early to judge as he got hung out to dry a bit always seemed to have 2 men to mark . Penny did well going forward but there was a lot of space behind him that cost us and put Ndaba under pressure . Note for their first goal Ball lost the ball going forward and then Ndaba was left to try and stop Benteke , probably a 50 mill player, and the goalscorer ! didn't help that he lost his footing either . |  | | |
