Just gone 10am and its 32oC.

Is it acceptable to have a bowl of ice cream for breakfast?

You can, but is ice cream the most refreshing option right now?

Truly impaired.

I'm getting 33 here in East Central (Larndan Tarn)

Not finding it too bad so far, but have a day off today whereas yesterday I was out in it from 5-30AM to 1930. There was what looked like salty patches on my Tshirt when I got home.

The plus side is while it's supposed to be hotter today, it's also suppose to cool off overnight tonight which is the toughest bit for me, trying to sleep when it's still 25C outside.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

I’m already at 33 (with an accurate thermometer) near Harleston, north Suffolk.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

Temps are due to crash tonight, so sleeping should be more comfortable. Over this side of the country we are down to a freezing cold 24o at 8pm. Last night it was still 32o then.

The fluctuation in temperature was weird during the night. I left Newquay at 2.45am and it was 24 degrees yet every now and then between Cornwall, Devon and Somerset the temperature would suddenly drop to about 18/19. You could actually feel it suddenly drop. A few miles later and it went back up.

Were you dropping down into hollows on the journey? Seen that before on a few journeys, normally at the bottom of a hill where I assume the cold air has settled.

11am and its hit 34oC

Interested to see how far this goes, I remember 1990, back in my youth, when Cheltenham got the highest UK temp recorded at 37.1oC.

That time, I was not hiding in the house with the curtains shut, I was at the local open air pool. On the pull, the only thing I went home with was sunburn.

Should've kept your knob in your trunks then.
