I'm afraid I disagree. That is it no way saying he wasn't OK but he spent far to much time chasing the ball in the wrong areas and trying to hard which tbh can be expected sometimes from youngsters.
These are great experiences for players like him tho, same for Alexander who was given some horrible balls to deal with by burgess at the end.
Hopefully we can do well in this competition just so it enables siziba to get more minutes. If he can control his runs and understand when to press and when to leave lost causes, it'll do him the world of good. |  |

Ian Westlake commented that it was clear that he wasn't as practiced in the group pressing that we do, probably down to his limited involvement with first team training. Hopefully his performance tonight has earned him some more time training with the first team. Definitely a player in there. |  |

Aluko's boots are big boots to fill... Both youngsters did well, And Humphreys as well.. Great to see them out there. There are obviously certain things that a young player wont have in his locker. But , it was a good game to help blood them in. And being part of and contributing to a 6-0 victory. Will do there confidence the world of good...
Two things stood out for me.. Aluko's reading of the game was missed when he had to leave the pitch. And Humphreys is way ahead of our other youngsters..
Siziba looked lively. He's got a great master in Aluko to learn from. In terms of being half a yard quicker in the head. But that will come with experience.. |  | | |

Early on he seemed to be lacking positional discipline. I’m not knocking, he’s young, no one expected him to play those minutes but there was not much that stood out, unless I missed it!!
That could mean he got his head down, worked hard and did his stuff or because the game passed one of the attacking players by, I can’t say he looked more than ok.
Humphries on the other hand looked good, at home alongside Ball. | |

Looked out of place a little up until half time when he came on just before, a little bit erratic and lacked composure - to be expected with the early nerves.
Second half I thought he was a lot better, and nice to see him involved with a really good pass for Ladapo goal.
Will be invaluable for him, and hopefully will continue to develop in the U23 for the time being. [Post edited 31 Aug 2022 9:02]

Very raw, looked out of place amongst our well drilled team. But very confident and never stopped running.
