Watched the game, feel bad for Burns... 17:34 - Sep 17 with 1021 viewsOriginalMarkyP

As his indiscipline let them back in.

BUT I'd have taken that point all day long.

Hate Barry Bannan though.

I wish Bannan played for us.
Without him Wednesday would be a nothing team...we would motor out of this league in no time.

Let's see where we are after the next two games. Still fairly confident we will cruise this season.

Burns has been poor this season, for him. If we had a second option, like we do on the left, I'd argue he should switched out but is the drop off from him to Edwards or Vincent-Young too much? I think it may be at the moment. Could be a big game for (presumably) Edwards in midweek if he wants to make a mark.

He hasn’t really got going yet has he. Maybe a bit distracted with the international call ups in the summer? It seems the only thing that’s changed, but then they’re also not machines. He’s also often heavily marked and the defending part was never his strength. He’s very much an on the front foot player who likes some space to attack.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

When you say poor, is that code for a player who no longer stands out in an excellent team who are top of the league?

If so, then I agree he’s poor.

Not sure. Previously all our attacks had to come down the right as we had little else whereas now we can spread the ball around so he sees less of it. But when he does have it he doesn't seem as strong as last year, in terms of dribbling, passing and shooting.

If he is going through a poor spell, god help the rest when he recovers his form!

Regardless, top of the division, 21 points on the board and we are half way through September. There really isn’t much to criticise at the moment.

I agree mate.

Unfortunately for some there is lots to criticise:

Burns is poor
We have a soft underbelly
Today was a shambles
No number 9 = lack of goals
We don’t beat top teams

We’re top of the league still after playing the strongest team we can play away from home and we’re two weeks away from a sell out top of the league clash against Pompey at PR.

Times are good.
