What to expect from Lincoln on Saturday then? 12:48 - Oct 13 with 1229 views | Dubtractor | They've gone from a team challenging for promotion a couple of years back, to one doing not much but making up the numbers more recently. Anyone know much about their key players, or style of play? Are they likely to try and give us a game, or will they do a Cambridge?

TBH, even knowing nothing about Lincoln, their squad or their performance this year, I would've guessed that Bishop would be injured.
What to expect from Lincoln on Saturday then? on 12:57 - Oct 13 with 1136 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Very average League one team. Jack Diamond the danger man replacing Anthony Scully. I expect them to come and play though, like Bristol Rovers did.

Yeah he’s never quite stayed fit for long. Averaging about 20 games a season in his 8 year pro career

What to expect from Lincoln on Saturday then? on 13:07 - Oct 13 with 1081 views | Darth_Koont | I think we’re going to see a lot scrappier games generally now that we’re genuine promotion favourites. Sides that might have fancied 3 points will be looking for a point as a good result — and having an open game against us or even letting us play on the counter-attack would be fairly suicidal. So I can see Lincoln et al focusing on frustrating and crowding us as much as possible. And hope we cough up a goal by pushing too far forward or via a set piece. I think McKenna will want the players just to keep playing the same way and exploit space when the opposition switches off or tires. But I’d like to see us settle a lot earlier and be more clinical and effective in first halves as us scoring first is the best way of opening up the game.

What to expect from Lincoln on Saturday then? on 13:13 - Oct 13 with 1030 views | LankHenners | Average. Unlikely to do a Cambridge but equally won't be haring around pressing us. Quick check of the stats has them taking the fewest shots in the league so we should be fairly confident of keeping them quiet and playing the game on our terms. Mixed results, a 6-3 away win at Bristol Rovers a standout plus have got a point at Portsmouth and beat Derby at home (although that was before Derby started to get a grip on things). Everything about them says 'mid-table League One team'. Potentially awkward but we should be backing ourselves for a comfortable looking victory here.

Not 100% true of late. Since getting over his big injury in 2020, he's had a good run of fitness, 72 league appearances across his last 2 seasons.
