Is anyone else finding that the quality on the Umbro kits seems to be a little bit of a step down compared to the Adidas stuff from previous seasons?
When I bought the kit I thought some of the finishing around the hems was a little bit sloppy, and now I've washed it a couple of times, some of the printed elements are already starting to peel off.
Has anyone else found this, or have I perhaps got part of a duff batch? |  |

Think it was always going to be the case. Adidas is the gold standard, but we got an off the shelf number. To push for a better, more personalized deal was always likely to mean a slight step down, in my opinion. |  |

Umbro offer custom design and all three of these shirts look great
Kit is very much going custom now, the big boys like Nike and Adidas are getting a bit left behind here |  |

I'm not sure what bespoke Vs off the shelf has to do with quality of manufacture?
I get the Adidas > Umbro argument, just not that bit.
Off the shelf means more of any one shirt design made, which I would expect to mean better finish, if anything. |  | | |

I think nowadays, much like if you get a name/number printed on the back, they advise washing the shirts inside out to protect the printing. Assume that now applies to any printed logos/sponsors etc. |  |
