Donacien has look a bit off over the past two or three games.

If we gave him a rest and we continue to play four at the back, then KVY would be an option. But he's injured. If we go to last season's back 3 then we could put Fridge on the right, where he'd be more comfortable, Woolfy in the middle, where he oozes class, and Burgess on the left, which is his natural side.

Thoughts?

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

I see no harm in that, Donacien took a big hit early on against Lincoln?

He's important to our game though and links well with Burns but if he needs a rest and he's better for it, it's worth looking at

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Maybe JD needs a rest or maybe he is better in the fluid formation at the start of the season to the flatter back for we seem to have fallen back to

not a criticism of your comment but there is an irony judging his 'poor' performances now against how many including Hurrt and Lambert judged him!!

He was holding his hamstring for a long part of the second half at Derby and definitely think he looks jaded and in need of a rest. The problem is we don't have a direct replacement for the hybrid flexibility he gives us. What you've put foward is an option but think we would be a lot more of a rigid back 5.

I think a few of them are probably playing through some heavy knocks or are on painkillers going into games. Like McKenna said, once we get past the Charlton game, November's schedule is an easier one where we've got a nice cup tie where we can rotate well, and then two league games before another potential cup tie or week without a match before December fixtures come round

Switch Fridge to the RCB role and then stick Burgess in as the LCB.
