Andor *no spoilers* 08:01 - Dec 1 with 715 viewsunbelievablue

This is probably the trendy pick for someone not overly bothered by the Star Wars franchise, but Andor is definitely the best thing ever put out in that universe isn't it?

I know I shouldn't be surprised given it's Tony Gilroy, but boy, what a series. Stellan Skarsgård is immense.

Coincidentally, Madge and I watched Rogue One on Sunday. We've been going through the Star Wars films as she's never seen them (we've been watching in story order, so started with Episode one).

We both thought it was unexpectedly brilliant. Really enjoyed it.

We'll definitely be watching the shows once we're done with the films and I've heard great things about Andor.

Agree entirely.

Also not bothered/all that interested in the vast majority of the franchise stuff. But Andor is very good in its own right. A rollicking sci-fi adventure with a lot of political intrigue thrown in – it’s House of Cards with laser pistols.

I loved Rogue One. Watching that final sequence* in the cinema was real giddy, joyful stuff for me.

I'm a massive Star Wars fan from the Blue Topps Bubble Gum card and Palitoy (before Kenner) Star Wars figures (they weren't called "action figures" then, everyone just called them "Star Wars figures") era. But I think C3P0 is a prick, that the second sequence in the original Star Wars
of C3P0 and R2D2 on Tatooine is tedious in the extreme, and I like Attack of the Clones, so not your typical Star Wars fan!

I haven't seen Andor. I "need" a new phone, so may look for a deal with Disney+ included so that I can watch it.

* it's a "no spoilers" thread so am being vague here.
