Was KM watching a different game? (n/t) on 23:01 - Dec 2 with 1063 views | pointofblue | I get we don't want him to go full Cook but saying he was enjoying the game up to the goal, and accepting a performance of that level as one of those things is a concern, and might explain why we're so weak mentally. Yes, we can't play at our best all of the time. But there's a massive gap between our best and what we saw tonight.

In all fairness recent performances should help his cause to strengthen.

Let’s think about the championship as and when we get there, hey?

But this time, he says he wouldn't have felt any different if we'd won, but that he's gutted at what happened. W to the T to the F? Something to say I suppose...

You do realise managers say different things in public than they do behind closed doors some of the time?

Not his finest hour, but I think it’s very much about something to say soon after a game when emotions are raw. He’s on record talking about never being too high after a good win or too low after a poor result and by and large I think that’s the way to go, if you can do it. He’s not blind. He knows what the shortcomings were and what needs to be done.
