I'm not sure if people think they're being funny or they're just negative characters?
We're Ipswich Town FFS. One of only 12 English clubs to have won a European trophy. 'Good things don't happen to us'. Of course it was a long time ago but what is the matter? Halfway through the season and we've got everything to play for. I haven't enjoyed my football so much in years and years! [Post edited 6 Jan 2023 16:04]

IMO I don't think we have the mental ability to grind out another 3/4/5 wins in a row like the others. I would, sadly, 100% bet on us to be the team that misses out. Obviously I would love to be incorrect and we still need to play our two biggest rivals at home, but I'm still unconfident we can get back to the WWWWW that is needed. |  |

That is the disconnect.
Bookies have us as short price favourites with SW second and PA third.
I feel nowhere near as confident as that.
Are we all conditioned to pessimism after 20 ish years of dross?
A lot of points still to play for. But we have to get back to early season form, and stop throwing points away.
An extra striker and a good option in CM would definitely help.
No signs of Argyle or Owls slowing up right now, but surely they will both have another wobble in the next few months. |  | | |
