Being sold by Arsenal, hope we negotiated a sell on.

I wonder if we've actually got him cheaper because we had a sell on in the deal when he originally went to Arsenal?

Can you add a sell on fee if they've gone via a compensation settlement?

I believe that there is the scope for the Tribunal to include a sell-on in any determined compensation package, so it could well be possible that any informal negotiations would also include one.

Maybe Arsenal have a sell on clause?

It's interesting to think, it may even be there's other financial aspects of the deal when he left here that have been written off against the fee we're paying. Hard to know how it was structured I guess. If there is a sell on then I wonder if we are paying the full fee and then being rebated the sell on so that we can count it towards turnover?

We need an 'overage' clause as they do in property transactions.

But when we sold him he was underage, not overage.
