Beamback for Cambridge game 10:53 - Jan 26 with 1229 viewskizaitfc

I get the club are obviously doing this due to the demand for tickets to the game, but I would imagine there would be a reasonable demand for this sort of thing for all away games.

If you are not able to make the away games, surely it would be far more fun to sit with a group of town fans than sit at home watching/listening to the game on iFollow. Wonder if this is being considered by the club or this is just a one off. Potential money earner though you would think with money going to the club and not iFollow.

However, I do suspect there are some ridiculous league rules against doing this?

It would make sense to allow it for any fixture where the away allocation is sold out

I think they're just trialling it to make sure it works for Derby (A) in the Play-Off semi-final first leg....

I think they would’ve had to have got permission from the EFL? Doubt they’d be happy for it to always happen??

May have something to do with the away end selling out therefore the league can't make the argument it is affecting attendance at the live game maybe?

I'll be interested to see its take up. People don't just go to away games to watch the game with fans - it's the whole experience. If it was a big end of season game then more justification but just seems odd for a game everyone can watch at home and not travel in the cold to PR for.

That being said I'm sure there's enough people with no other plans on a Saturday to want to go and try it out - a chance to meet with mates and have some beers.

Would be nicer for the end/start of seasons matches sitting on the training pitch etc. in the sun
