A really, really good performance in a big game, very enjoyable.

Proper marker thrown down, innit.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Think we were down to the bare bones, squad wise, last year at Bolton..
Nice to have some quality and legs off the bench today. Just to peg them back a bit..
They dont concede many at home. But we could have had another couple of goals on the break, on a good day...(Gooder day)..
Really good performance. Which will give us a lot of belief going forwards.
I'm still feeling a bit shredded. And weve got 4 more like that, away from home, to come, lol.

Got to be up there given the quality of the opponent, they’re a really decent side IMO. The levels between the top 6 and bottom 6 is so stark, I think more so than the other 3 divisions. 1st half was so good, to dominate like that on their patch and grow into the half as it went on was very impressive. Got a great goal too, Burns picks that ball up about level with our box and ends up finding Hirst on the penalty spot. Such good movement from him to get in front of his man as well, textbook forward play with a finish to match.

Rode our luck a little with the penalty, thought that was clumsy from Burgess. Big up Walton, it’s not often we can say luck has favoured us this season. On balance we were good for the 3 points, icing on the cake with the Plymouth result going into the final 10 with it all to play for.

Agreed. Character was needed, and it was shown in abundance.

Just to highlight a stat not yet mentioned on here as far as I can see - we've scored more away from home this season than any other team in the league 👍

Said the other day to someone. I’ve enjoyed this season but I’ve not REALLY enjoyed it as a lot of the games have been slogs trying to break teams down the entertainment hasn’t really been there.

Today felt like 2 teams setting out to win the game rather than sneak a point or a win.

Up until now I was unsure if we could turn it on when it mattered. Today showed we could, which reassures me given it may be play offs
