Match day parking 13:42 - Apr 6 with 1839 viewsN2_Blue

Driving from London I usually park on Belstead Avenue as it's easy to get away from post match. However becoming increasingly difficult to park there due to bigger gates and wrong side of Town for pubs if meeting anyone. Has anyone got any tips for parking in other areas of town in walking distance to the ground and doesn't get too snarled up when getting away?

Can't help you with parking, but assuming you live in N2 we must be neighbours. Do you drive down a lot?

I used to live in East Finchley bit moved to West London over 5 years ago so the user name is bit redundant really!

Aha, I moved to East Finchley 2 years ago.

On the rare occasions we drive we normally sneak in on one of the estates off London Road, but to be honest that's been a nightmare lately too. Sorry not to be more help.

Park in the Park and Ride and either use their bus or go over to Tesco and get the 13.

Park & Ride is great for getting in, but an absolute PITA when it comes to getting back post-match. You get caught up in all of the post-match traffic, and it can take the best part of an hour to get back to Copdock sometimes.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

No worries, the bigger gates have definitely impacted parking station side of the ground.

I loved living around East Finchley and Highgate...I miss it

Do not use park and ride tomorrow. I intended to, but having checked their website (to no avail) I finally got thru to them on their twitter account. First reply was 'Sunday service', when I asked again what the Sunday service times were, was informed they do not run buses on Sundays! Why call it a Sunday service??? User beware.

depends if you want to pay or not as my son-in-law has a car dealership just a stone's throw from the ground and he has parking.

Chantry has become a fave for A12 side fans, but it's a job getting through it back to A12.
