Think it’s quite typical of them isn’t it? They really aren’t all that, they’ve just got a pretty solid squad of seasoned players who are good at this level, and they’ve been consistent enough to amass 96 points or whatever it was without ever looking great. They’re pretty basic innit. | |

That’s first half at Portman road that superior squad of seasoned pros blew us away… Byers, Windass and Bannon were confident and gelling and they were on top
BUT … like McCarthy teams it’s all built on sand. There isn’t the technical system and plays to fall back on.
Take away the confidence it just ends up being very ugly and speculative… so much turnover.. | |

He’s got something, but only for P’boro strangely. Like a one trick pony, whose trick isn’t much of a trick and then someone points out he’s not even a pony. Have to agree. Even first half Portman road we played well to start with. Should have been one up. Then seemed to just get nervous in defence. It shows how bad most of league 1 is that Wednesday got 96 points. |  | | |
