But I think Hirst will develop into the better player and career
Keane is 30 now
And had a good spell at Wigan with 48 goals in 119 appearances

Their skill sets are the complete opposite, their style/movement is also completely different. Hirst is pacey, direct, stretches defenders creating space in the pockets for the 10s. Keane runs in treacle, is very technically gifted and drops deep pulling the defenders the opposite direction to Hirst, creating space for runs in behind.
As an elite level example its like comparing Drogba and Berbatov imo. | | | |

He'd be a good player for our squad. The fact he's 30 I think swings it to not be right for growth of the team. Wouldn't have minded him as the 2nd striker we bring in but would prefer younger signing. | |
