Question about open day - did they not train on pitch?? 08:54 - Aug 3 with 908 views

From memory the main part of the open day used to be an open training session on the pitch, with fans watching from the Pioneer.

Assume this didn’t happen looking at the TWTD gallery?

Was this to spare the pitch?

Did anyone manage to see the pitch, how was it looking?

The club had said beforehand that there wouldn’t be a training session on the pitch this time due to the ongoing works.

I suppose they’re giving the grass as long as possible to grow

Assume the team will train on it ahead of the Stoke game to familiarise with the surface.

Should be some TownTV content on the pitch by now? A recap on the project and an overview of the new system (drainage tanks etc) - club been very quiet on the pitch. Have they even released one official picture?!

The Bristol Rovers game is before Stoke. Assume they'll train on it before then as well
