What we have found out or maybe confirmed from this transfer window from looking at the amount of cash flying about even by Championship clubs we got a bargain with him .

A honest lad who gives 100% and has the ability to push on and become even better.

With the price that strikers were going for later in the window I think Hirst would have gone for double what we paid for him him if we'd delayed doing that one - even with his limited Championship scoring record.

Reported to be £1.5m upfront but sure there'll be some hefty add-ons if he/we do well.

Half of what we may have paid had we delayed signing him.

very true, I think people seem to forget that a lot of ground work was done in previous transfer windows

This one has been more of a consolidating window with some solid recruits

We can't have got our first choice on centre backs, it maybe true with Hutchison as well having pursued Rak-Sakyi

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
